RECIPES WITH TREE TOMATO OR TAMARILLO
TREE TOMATO SWEET .
The tree or tamarillo tomato is rich in vitamins A, B6, C and E .
- Cheese slices to taste
- 13 tamarillos
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 20gr of sugar
- 3 glasses of 40ml of water
- 1. Peel the tamarillos or tree tomatoes.
- 2. Pour the water, sugar and cinnamon into a saucepan, cooking them over medium heat.
- 3. Stir all the ingredients until the cinnamon and sugar are diluted into a homogeneous mixture and reduce the heat, cooking for about 8 minutes.
- 4. Add the tamarillos and let them cook. Once cooked, reduce the heat and cook for 8 minutes.
- 5. Remove from the heat and place the mixture in a bowl and add the cheese slices to serve to taste.
